SOUTH BERWICK, Maine – Farmer and mariner Benjamin Gerrish, whose 1791 diary gives a vivid picture of survival on a South Berwick farm over two centuries ago, is the subject of a talk by museum curator Nina Maurer on Thursday evening, October 28, starting at 7:30 pm.

The final performance of ACT ONE's fourth annual Festival of Fun will be a rousing concert by the Don Campbell Trio on Sunday, October 10 at 7:30pm at the West End Studio Theatre in Portsmouth, NH. (see details below) 

The local jazz and improvisational trio called Color will bring their unique blend of musical flare to a special, single-night screening of Alfred Hitchcock’s first feature release. The 1927 silent film “The Lodger: A Story of the London Fog” will be shown as a benefit for the Portsmouth Halloween Parade on October 9. (see details and entire October schedule below)

When the lights go down in the city, recapture the stirring emotions of rock’s most glorious power ballads with Captured: The Journey Show at the Rochester Opera House on Saturday, November 6 at 7:30 PM.  With state-of-the-art sound and lights, Captured recreates Journey’s brilliant music that brings fans as close as it gets to seeing and feeling Journey live in concert.  (Continued below)
