HOLIDAY CALENDAR

Get into the spirit of the season with a new twist on two holiday classic.  Pontine Theatre’s co-directors Marguerite Mathews and Greg Gathers perform their original two-person staging of A Child's Christmas in Wales, and its condensed version of It’s A Wonderful Life.   Performances are Fri Dec 14 at 8pm, Sat Dec 15 at 4pm and 8pm, and Sun Dec 16 at 2pm. The sounds of holiday carols and harmonized seasonal favorites will be heard in Greenland on Sunday afternoon, December 16. Gospel group The RMS Five will present a holiday concert at Community Congregational Church at 2 Post Road in Greenland on Sunday, December 16. The show starts at 4 pm; doors open at 3:30. Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door, with children under 12 admitted free. The concert is part of a celebration of the release of The RMS Five’s new CD, “Christmas Every Day.” (Continued below)

Guests will be welcomed on December 8 by lovely strains of seasonal music and former Mayor Nicholas J. Costello will welcome neighbors and friends to Whittier’s personal study. Deb Cram has dedicated her life to telling other peoples stories through photographs. The goal has always been to raise awareness and make a difference in the community. She has done this tirelessly for more than 20 years but it wasn't until she was covering “The Kids Are Our Business” breakfast for that she realized she needed to tell her own story. New Hampshire Theatre Project brings Noel Coward’s playful send-up of love and the afterlife to the West End stage. Blithe Spirit leads viewers into a new world with Coward’s incisive wit that has been haunting audiences for over 70 years. A smash hit on Broadway and London’s West End, Coward’s self-described “improbable farce” is a delightful comic classic with a sexy ghost, an eccentric medium and an imperious man troubled by two wives, one of whom has been dead for seven years.
