Far from the worst movie including Jesse James, this Three Stooges film turns was created for drive-in theatres in the mid-1960s. It co-stars Batman's Adam West who is editor of an environemtnal newspaper in the late 1800s. The film has funny ideas and, unlike many, recognizes that the legendary Wild West is a focition, not a fact.

Short and sweet, this documentary gets the Jesse James story accross, and sticks pretty close to the facts. Features an interview with the outlaws frandson and tells the story without glorifying the outlaw too much.

In this 1941 feature length film, Roy Rogers takes on Roy Rogers in a dual role.  Roy plays both Jesse James and the bad guy. But whait a minute -- isn't Jesse James the bad guy? Not in this World War II melodrama that includes Gabby Hayes and not a whisker of historic fact.
