Web of Betrayal Comes to Ring

MARK YOUR CALENDCloser01AR

In Closer, Patrick Marber has written a brutal anatomy of modern romance, where a quartet of strangers meet, fall in love, and are caught up in a web of desire and betrayal. Closer was hailed as one of the best new plays of the 1990s. The London Observer noted that Closer “wired itself into the cultural vocabulary in a way that few plays have ever done.” (Continued below)

This contemporary “classic” has never been performed on the seacoast. Rolling Die Productions is pleased to premiere this strong, thought-provoking show at The Players' Ring.  A strong cast of Seacoast favorites Rebecca Rudolf, Christopher Savage, Todd Hunter and Constance Witman take the stage with the direction of Joi Smith, who is known for her production of Equus, guiding the audience through the homes, galleries, and clubs of London.

Closer runs November 5 to November 21. It opens at 8 pm Friday and Saturday. 7 pm on Sundays, Nov 7th and 14th. 2pm on Sunday Nov 21st.  Tickets are $14, member discounts apply.  Purchase tickets online or call for reservations (603) 436-8123.
