Sean received his BFA in Printmaking from the University of New Hampshire, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2008. From 2007 through 2010, he worked at a printmaking studio/gallery as an intern and later as manager, working closely with artist Don Gorvett. In 2009 he taught a semester-long course in etching at Heartwood College of Art in Kennebunk, Maine.

Sean has twice served as artist-in-residence at Marblehead High School in Marblehead, MA, where he taught introductory etching to over 50 high school juniors and seniors. His work has been exhibited extensively throughout New England and at the Print Center in Philadelphia, and he has presented solo exhibitions in Biddeford, Maine and Gloucester, MA.

This spring he will showcase two works in the 2011 Boston Printmakers Biennial exhibition, where he is one of four exhibiting artists asked to present a lecture on his work and technique. Sean is represented by the Bowersock Gallery in Provincetown, MA and The Old Print Shop in Manhattan, and his work may be found in many private collections, as well as in the collections of the Boston Athenaeum and the Ogunquit Museum of American Art.
