Eliot Maine Turns 200 in August
Eliot_200th_02To kick off its bicentennial celebration, on Saturday, August 7th the town of Eliot, Maine will host its biggest parade ever. Then it’s a week of eating, exhibiting, dancing, prancing, singing, reciting, marching, camping, exhibiting, touring and honoring until August 14 and even beyond. See full schedule of events below. (click headline)

You only turn 200 once, and so it’s fitting to celebrate like there’s no tomorrow. We borrowed the entire schedule of events from the historical society, but there’s even more there on historic Eliot, Maine, our cousin across the river.
