Rare Maine Photos Exposed Print Email
Exposed00The Maine Historical Society is weaving together a visual narrative of life in Maine. The black and white photographs in the exhibit entitle "Exposed" reveal rare content that include early electrical tattooing in 1925 and an 1890 bicycle race. In another odd photo hundreds of Mainers gather in Monument Square in Portland waiting for the results of a 1923 boxing match.
