The Oyster River Players perform “Carousel” on Friday, July 11 at 7pm, Saturday, July 12 at 1 and 7pm and Sunday, July 13 at 1pm. Carousel is set in a small village in Maine at the end of the 19th century, after the Civil War and in the beginnings of the Industrial Revolution. (Click title to read more)

2014 SUMMER SCHEDULE

Skyler, a York native, has performed before audiences of thousands and opened for musicians like the Band Perry and Plain White t’s. He will appear July 24on the lawn of Central School in South Berwick. One of seven groups of professional musicians who will play in South Berwick’s Thursdaynight concert series, the 23-year-old singer songwriter is eager to bring his “pop rock with heart” back to his community.

ARCHAEOLOGY 2014

The Old Berwick Historical Society and Dr. Neill De Paoli invite seacoast residents to join them in the picturesque Old Fields neighborhood of South Berwick, Maine. In summer 2014 the group will explore the former home, tavern and, possibly, the garrison of the families of Humphrey and Mary Spencer and Captain Ichabod and Elizabeth Goodwin. It's been 300 years since 25 women and 18 men petitioned to organize a church in Kittery, Maine. Three centuries later, the spirit of that first congregation still shines in a new exhibit at the Portsmouth Athenaeum. PORTSMOUTH PARKING         

The City of Portsmouth has announced that the newly instituted downtown Portsmouth Parking Shuttle now has its own real-time tracking application.  The new free shuttle bus departs from the Connect Community Church Parking Lot on Market Street and drops passengers off at the Hanover Street Parking Garage.
