Hale House History Located on the historic "campus" of buildings with the Woodman Institute and the Damm Garrison, the Hale House was owned by the nation's first abolitionist Senator. Today the top floor has been restored to show rooms as they were in the mid 19th century. The bottom floor contains an extensive and fascinating collection of Dover-area artifacts.
