About the Author
Ken Martin taught history at Gettysburg College and Slippery Rock University. He served six years as curator of the Kendall Whaling Museum in Sharon, Massachusetts. Since 1990 he has been a self-employed historian authored over 15 books. He lives in Woolwich, Maine.
