EXETER -- The 24 voices of Amare Cantare present a concert about remembrance, peace, and freedom. The centerpiece of the performance is Eleanor Daley’s Requiem for unaccompanied voices, an ethereal 7-movement work whose text combines liturgical Latin, English psalms and prayers, and original poetry by Carolyn Smart.
