CANTERBURY -- Fee: $175, members $160
Drive away the winter blues by delving into herbology. This course provides hands on experiences, making tinctures, soaps and herbal salts, for example, to connect you with the early spring. We will also concentrate on specific herbs, garden layouts and soil science. Sign up for individual sessions, or the whole six session course. A certificate will be awarded at the end of the course for those who complete the entire six weeks. Students should bring scissors, water color paints, brown bag lunch, and anything you need to feel comfortable inside. For more information and to register, visit www.shakers.org or call (603) 783-9511.
