He doesn’t look like the photo any more, but he’s still on the comedy circuit. Comedian Jimmie “JJ” Walker – catch phrase “Dyn-o-mite” – will appear at the Rochester Opera House on Saturday, March 19 at 8:00 PM and you can see the former TV-star right here in Seacoast, NH. (Continued below)

Quirky funny man Walker shot to fame as the wisecracking J.J. Evans on the hit comedy series Good Times.  The catch-phrase Dyn-o-mite! was coined and Walker’s comedy album of the same name went gold.  During the show’s six year run, the charismatic comedian with his uniquely humorous perspective on American culture continued his stand-up career, headlining at top comedy clubs across the country.  Walker, with twenty-five guest spots on David Letterman, has made over one hundred appearances in films and television, most recently in Everybody Hates Chris and Scrubs.  Over the years, Jimmie “JJ” Walker has enjoyed many successes in film and on television, but stand-up comedy remains his first love.
