Portsmouth carpenters playing Dominoes / Strawbery Banke Archive
Strawbery Banke Presents
HISTORIC PORTSMOUTH #85

They were friends for 80 years. These four former Portsmouth carpenters are caught here playing dominoes behind a home on Salter Street. The candid photo was taken prior to a more formal shot that appeared in the Portsmouth Herald in the winter of 1908. The four childhood friends are, from left to right, Daniel Mason, J. Wiley Coleman, Edward J. Moulton and George P. Abbott.
