“We're trying to make dance music – fun party rock,” said Free Energy guitarist Scott Wells in an interview with Paste Magazine. “Stuff that's unabashedly going for it, with a good beat, good groove and hopefully a catchy hook.” One listen to their debut release, “Stuck On Nothing,” (produced by LCD Soundsystem frontman James Murphy) will have you convinced: Free Energy certainly accomplishes what they set out to do. Hailing from Philadelphia, PA, the five-piece outfit gives listeners an upbeat pop-rock sound that's good, clean fun – Free Energy possesses a completely unpretentious quality extremely refreshing to find in today's music scene.

The show is 18+, tickets are $15 in advance and at the door. Tickets can be purchased online at the Rivermill Web site or call 603-343-2192.
