The final performance of ACT ONE's fourth annual Festival of Fun will be a rousing concert by the Don Campbell Trio on Sunday, October 10 at 7:30pm at the West End Studio Theatre in Portsmouth, NH. (see details below) 



Named Maine's Best Singer-Songwriter from 2004 to 2009 in the Maine Sunday TelegramReaders' Poll, Don Campbell s a self-taught multi- instrumentalist and songwriter whose world-class vocals and boy-next-door-charm have taken him from his hometown of Scarborough, Maine to his second home in Nashville, Tennessee ~ and well beyond.  Don has opened for Willie Nelson, American Idol winner Carrie Underwood, Toby Keith, Randy Travis, Shawn Colvin, George Jones, and many other folk, rock, and country greats.  

Earlier this year, Don released his 10th CD,Songs from the Campbell Kitchen.  Recorded with his Dad and uncles, the collection is filled with Canadian Maritimes and American folk music they all grew up playing within their musical family, from New Brunswick, Canada to Maine

Don Campbell is a gifted storyteller, and his music blends folk, rock, contemporary, and country.  He will be joined by bandmates Tonya Shevenell on bass and Andy Happel on the fiddle, who provide terrific harmonies and add to the evening's fun.

The West End Studio Theatre, located at 959 Islington Street, is a wonderfully intimate 60-seat theatre.  WEST is air-conditioned and has comfortable seating with plenty of legroom, off-street parking, and is wheelchair accessible.
