ACT ONE's 4th Annual Festival of Fun presents internationally acclaimed chef and award-winning writer James Haller in his performance memoire, Salt & Pepper Cooking -- The Education of an American Chef, at the West End Studio Theatre in Portsmouth, NH. The founder of the Blue Strawbery continues the tale.(Continued below)



Mr. Haller, chef of the famed Blue Strawbery restaurant, has turned his hand to writing and performing of late.  Salt & Pepper Cooking was such a box-office hit at ACT ONE's 2009 Festival that audiences requested that the production be brought back for 2010.

Chef James HallerIn Salt & Pepper Cooking, Chef Haller serves up a perfect blend of humor, notalgia and wisdom, recounting how he began cooking with his grandmothers in his early childhood and sharing the tale of how cooking unexpectedly became a career path for him with the opening of the Blue Strawbery when he was 33.
