Scrooge and Tiny Tim (Chuck Galle and C. Fritz) by Jasmin HunterMARK YOUR CALENDAR

Ebenezer Scrooge has no use for Christmas; it is a waste of time and money. He makes no secret that he detests the holiday, yet the Christmas cheer, warm wishes and generous spirit surround him.  His lonely, miserable existence is about to change this Christmas Eve.  (Continued below)

The Players’ Ring has created a warm tavern in which to hear the narrated tale of how Ebenezer Scrooge got his soul back, just in time for Christmas. This year’s performance will include more of Dickens’ original text along with Gary Newton’s adaptation.  As the story unfolds, the tavern patrons become faces of Scrooge’s past, present and future.  A chorus of voices fills the theater with Christmas cheer throughout the performance.  This is a show for young and old and all those in between.

Christmas Carol runs from December 10th through the 23rd.  Show times are 8pm Fridays, 3pm and 8pm Saturdays, and 3pm and 7pm Sundays.  There are also 7pm shows December 20th, 21st, 22nd and 23rd.  Tickets are $14, with Students and Seniors at $12, and Member discounts will apply.   Children under 12 are $8.

An opening Night Fundraiser to benefit The Players’ Ring is to take place December 10th.  Tickets for the Fundraiser are $24 with Member tickets at $20.  A party with refreshments will follow the performance.  Call for reservations (603) 436-8123 or purchase tickets online by visiting the official WEB SITE.
