Our sixth Photo Gallery transports you to our seaside sister town of Kennebunkport, Maine, courtesy of Robert Dennis. Still an active fishing village, Kennebunkport maintains the difficult balance of business and tourism with grace and dignity. Land travelers must arrive along the twisting seaside route, and it's best to park and walk among the shops, restaurants and historic sites.

Our friend Robert Dennis succumbed to the Kennebunkport allure and bought his second home there a decade ago. An avocational photographer with a passion for the Maine coast, Dennis moonlights as a mutual fund manager from Massachusetts. His photos are available in local galleries and can be seen in guidebooks, postcards and even Yankee magazine. We first met him when he supplied cover shots for our South Coast Maine video "101 Highlights," available in the Seacoast Store.
