It seemed like an endless sea of runners passing the hundreds of booths in Market Square Day. The ideal weather was in contrast to last years monsoon.

Within 30 minutes, the runners were arriving at Strawbery Banke for prizes, drinks, food and congratulations. Here finishers hose down at the ending chute.

Even the massages are free at the end of the race. Over 1500 registered runners completed the course, a Market Square Day record.

Heading back up for a day at the festival, runners swap war stories outside the historic Warner House at the outskirts of the booth area.
