YOUR LIGHTHOUSE GUIDE
on SeacoastNH.com
Check in for weekly updates as Mr. Lighthouse" takes you to another of New England's famed lighthouses. Your guide is Jeremy D'Entremont, the man who knows New England lighthouses like nobody else.
Jeremy D'Entremont is the webmaster of New England Lighthouses: A Virtual Guide at Lighthouse.cc. He has been photographing and writing about lighthouses for nearly two decades. Jeremy is the founder and president of the Friends of Portsmouth Harbor Lighthouse, a writer for Lighthouse Digest magazine, and the historian for the American Lighthouse Foundation. He has lectured on his favorite topic and narrated lighthouse cruises all along the New England coast. His photos appear in a wide variety of books and magazines.
Currently Jeremy is updating and annotating a series of revised editions by the popular New England historian and storyteller Edward Rowe Snow (1902-1982). Commonwealth Editions has published five of these books, so far, with three more on the way. Jeremy is also currently writing a series of books on New England lighthouses that will also be published by Commonwealth Editions over the next two years. Contrary to popular legend, however, he does not live in a lighthouse.
