Sammy’s New World, a New Hampshire-grown children’s entertainment brand, announces the world premier of its first film Sammy's New World. Area residents will have the opportunity to view this world-class short film starring local favorite Sammy Snail and his puppet friends while participating in a downtown
Kids of all ages are invited to attend the premier on Tuesday, December 17, 5:30 to 7:30 PM at the Seacoast Repertory Theater in
Tickets are $15 (little children free of charge) and maybe purchased through the box office at (603) 433.4793 or on-line www.seacoastrep.org. Tickets will be available at the door on the day of the event.
A portion of the proceeds from the event will sponsor educational performances for at-risk children through the not for profit Sammy Cares. Sammy Cares provides live performances and visits with Sammy Snail cast to area hospitals, homeless shelters and schools.
Sammy Snail has been touring in live school shows and festivals for twenty years. Ventriloquist, puppeteer and creator of Sammy’s New World, Lesley Smith, has adapted Sammy Snail and his neighborhood of adorable puppet friends to the digital world over the past 18 months. Smith and husband/producer Mark Abramczyk, plus a local and NYC team of talent, have developed the TV/Web children’s brand dubbed Sammy’s New World.
