Reminisce with the five-time Grammy Award winning pop/rock, country and gospel artist BJ Thomas at the Rochester Opera House on Friday, March 26, 2010 at 8:00 PM. Thomas’ distinctive voice first hit the airwaves with his single I’m So Lonesome I Could Cry, which soared to the top of the Billboard chart.

Through the years, the hits continued with Eyes of a New York Woman, Hooked on a Feeling and the mega hit Raindrops Keep Falling on my Head (written for the Academy Award winning movie Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid) and I Just Can’t Help Believing.

Thomas later pursued country/pop, resulting in the number one hit (Hey Won’t You Play) Another Somebody Done Somebody Wrong Song. He then moved to gospel, producing the platinum hit Home Where I Belong. BJ Thomas, with one of the most distinctive voices of his generation, has sold over seventy million records and is the only artist to produce top-selling hits in three music genres. Today, Thomas has a new studio album Love to Burn that showcases the range of styles that influenced his long and successful career.
