Portsmouth Underbelly is performed by George Hosker-Bouley and Sarah Shanahan. George is the former artistic and executive director of the Prescott Park Arts Festival and an award-winning playwright who has won numerous “Spotlight on the Arts Awards” for his work. His latest play “Parlor Games” was performed to standing room only audiences and his play “A Civil Tongue” was nominated locally for Best Play of 2011. Sarah Shanahan, new to the tour this year, is known for her broad portrayals of women. Sarah is also the winner and multiple Spotlight-nominee for Best Actress in a Musical. She has performed throughout the Seacoast and beyond.
