Proclaimed as “one of the nation’s leading standup comics” by EdgeBoston, Poundstone’s quirky observations and spot-on timing have earned her the reputation of being one of the best comics working today.

About Paula Poundstone

25 years ago Paula Poundstone climbed on a Greyhound bus and traveled across the country — stopping in at open mic nights at comedy clubs as she went.  A high school dropout, she went on to become one of the great humorists of our time.  Paula has starred in comedy specials on HBO and BRAVO, won an Emmy Award, served as “official correspondent” for The Tonight Show during the 1992 Presidential race, pioneered the art of backstage commentary during an Emmy telecast, and appears on “Late Night with Craig Ferguson” about 3 times a year.

Separated from the pack by her ability to be spontaneous with a crowd, Poundstone has become a legend among fellow comics and audiences alike. Poundstone says:  “No two shows I do are the same.”  Known for her honesty, and an off-kilter view of the world, Paula’s ability to create humor on the spot is legendary.
