Historic Portsmouth Chamber Music Returns This Summer

The Portsmouth Athenaeum announces the summer schedule of Historic Portsmouth Chamber Music. The series of four Sundayconcerts will kick off with the Rowe’s Lane Quartet, comprised of two violins, viola and cello, on July 13at the Rye Congregational Church. (Click title for full schedule) 

Subsequent performances include Emily Daggett Smith and Tanya Gabrielian, on piano and violin, on August 24at New Castle Congregational Church; Calandra Trio, comprised of viola, harp and flute, on September 14at the Congregational Church of Kittery Point; and Trio Cleonice, comprised of violin, cello, and piano, on October 19at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Portsmouth. All concerts start at 3:00pm.

Audience members planning to attend all four concerts are encouraged to purchase a Series Subscription for $75.00 per person. The Portsmouth Athenaeum also offers Series Patronage for $250 per person, which includes all four concerts plus an invitation to a special event. There is a suggested $20 at-the-door donation for each concert for those attendees who do not wish to subscribe.
