Bring your laptop, e-reader, tablet, or smartphone to the Wiggin Memorial Library in Stratham on Tuesday, October 29 at 4 pm to get introduced to downloading library ebooks and digital audiobooks. (Click for full details) 

 

“We’ll cover the software or apps needed, using the sites, borrowing and returning titles,” said Lesley Kimball, Library Director and workshop presenter. Register for the session at the library’s online calendar.    

The library offers access to both OverDrive and Freading for cardholders to borrow free ebooks to read on their mobile devices or computers. Participants will leave the session able to enjoy library ebooks or digital audiobooks on their own device.     

Technology Learn & Share sessions are intended to help people use the library’s e-resources and enjoy using technology. Participants are encouraged to ask questions and to share tips and tricks they have learned. Other scheduled topics include iPads & Tablet Basics, Facebook for Beginners, Your Online Library (Reserving, Renewing & More), Taking Online Classes through Universal Class, Creating Legal Documents with LawDepot, Online Language Learning with Transparent Language, Enjoying Online Magazines, and more.

All sessions are free and open to the public and welcome people at all levels of experience. The library is in the Stratham Municipal Center, 10 Bunker Hill Ave., Stratham.
