One of the seacoast’s favorite family entertainers, the Jumbo Circus Peanuts, will present a concert at Strawbery Banke Museum onSunday, June 22to benefit the Puddle Dock Pond ice rink. (Click link for details) 

The concert takes place from5 to 7pmunder a tent on the museum lawn. Picnics are welcome. Tickets are $10 adult, $5 child (ages 5-17), $25 per family (2 adults and all accompanying children) and are available at www.strawberybanke.org

Today, after 15 years' of Seacoast performances, the 12-person Jumbo Circus Peanuts band is the area's top-drawing musical group with an ever-expanding repertoire that, according to their website www.jumbocircuspeanuts.com, “sails around the musical worlds of pop, funk, swing and rock — with stops in Hollywood, Broadway, Detroit, Latin America and Hawaii.”

“We thank Jumbo Circus Peanuts for performing this concert for us as a fund-raiser for Puddle Dock Pond,” Lawrence J Yerdon, President and CEO, Strawbery Banke Museum. “We invite all of the citizens of Portsmouth and friends of the museum in the wider seacoast community and beyond, to come enjoy the music, a family evening together on the lawn and a chance to lend their support to the skating rink.”
