The legendary band’s collaboration with Willie Nelson on Willie and the Wheel recently won a 2010 Grammy nomination for Best Americana Album. Asleep at the Wheel, formed in Paw Paw, West Virginia in 1969, has released more than twenty studio albums producing more than twenty singles on the Billboard Country Charts.

Founder Ray Benson has led an ever-changing line-up (over 80 members) of talented musicians for forty years in his quest to keep alive the authentic sound of Big Band Western Swing Music. While remaining true to classic Country, Asleep at the Wheel has adapted their repertoire of music for symphonies with the Dallas, Austin, Fort Worth and Amarillo Pops.
