SEACOASTNH AWARDS

We just picked up the mail to discover we had won another award from New Hampshire magazine. The package included a nifty poster, a couple of magnets, a plaque and a letter from longtime editor Rick Broussard. SeacoastNH.com editor J. Dennis Robinson received editor's annual pic for "Best News from Yesteryear".

FROM THE JUNE issue of NEW HAMPSHIRE MAGAZINE:

"Robinson's voluminous and lavish treatment of Seacoast history performs the sorcery needed to call fire from heaven and illuminate the past as a living, breathing thing, as relevant as the news and often a lot more compelling. His studies of the maritime history of Portsmouth -- from John Paul Jones to the sinking of the the Squalus, and of cultural icons like the Wentworth by the Sea have become so authoritative and robust that he is frequently on call for filmmakers and writers seeking to capture a little bit of the local fire for their own projects."
