Benjamin Franklin WebsterStrawbery Banke Presents
HISTORIC PORTSMOUTH #28

A master builder, Benjamin Franklin Webster came to town from Epsom at age 17 and became one of the city’s wealthiest men. He posed here in a carriage on the lawn of his lavish Broad Street house with wife Sarah and daughter Stella. This beautiful Victorian with sumptuous woodworking represents the finest work of a self-made man. (Click for full photo)
