What ISHRA Does
Our purpose is to locate, collect, organize, preserve, expand, and make available information and knowledge relating to the natural and human history of the Isles of Shoals.

When ISHRA Meets

We meet at 7 P.M.on the 2nd Tuesday of May and the 2nd Tuesday of November at the Seacoast Science Center, at Odiorne State Park, Route 1A, in Rye, NH.

Meetings are friendly and fun. Guests are welcome.We have refreshments. There's a short business meeting and then a program that is

Isles of Shoals related, informative and entertaining.

 

What Members Get

Our ISHRA Newsletter is published twice a year. It contains news the Isles of Shoals, articles of historic interest, recipes, poetry, art work, photos, and information about ISHRA sponsored activities and events.

Among other programs, we sponsor a summer day-trip to Appledore and a fall weekend conference on Star Island.

Members are invited to work on any of our committees: Program Collections, Publications, Membership, and Nominations.


How to Sign Up

Our membership year runs from June to May.

Dues are $10 per year for Individuals, $5 for Juniors and $25 for Organizations
