HISTORIC PORTSMOUTH #178

Can you name the ships that brought the first settlers to Portsmouth? No plaque notes that David Thomson’s group of fishermen arrived aboard the JONATHAN from Plymouth in 1623. No memorial marks the landings of the WARWICK and PIED COW at Strawberry Bank around 1630. Why not?
