Coolisge BabyStrawbery Banke Presents
HISTORIC PORTSMOUTH #30

The Coolidge family were wealthy and artistic Bostonians who "rusticated" here each summer. They purchased the historic Gov. Benning Wentworth mansion in 1888, drawing other city-folk to Little Harbor. This pastoral photo, taken by Molly Coolidge around 1896, shows her little brother Jack and sisters Elizabeth and Louise.
