Strawbery Banke Museum opened in May 1965 and this photo possibly depicts that event. Only two buildings were then restored and the weather turned to cold and drizzle. The man standing Is historian Garland Patch who amassed a large collection of Portsmouth images and artifacts. (Click to enlarge)
